INTRODUCTION

Dear reader, whoever you may be! (Maybe it's just my mum? Hi mum!)

I'm Rudina.

I was born with a congenital condition which gave me Chronic Kidney disease and Neurogenic Bladder.

I was also born with huge ears, but that wasn't so much a medical condition as a reason for my brother to spin my head around, trying to catch international channels through my enormous lobes! (Spoiler: It didn't work, they had to buy an actual antenna).

These are some of the snippets of my life, the normal ups and downs, and my navigating through it with chronically ill health, and what it is in the everyday.

It may have been. slightly harder, the life I was dealt, but it was also a lot more fun I promise!

Nothing worth having is easy getting as they say.

And boy do I have a huge sense of humour!

So let me share my life with you like a vulgar old hag who's dignity was

left at the stage door a long time ago, when she decided to be a performer.
